If I take a photo using the camera and then to share it by email, the default is to send from one of my gmail addresses configured. I'm trying to use the one of the other gmail address as the From address.

But that question along with the rest of what I can find on the web, only deal with a single gmail email address.
since software update 3.0 you can select multiple photos copy them and paste it as email body, in iOS you can SHARE it as email.
I have figured out a way to do this that will work for me.
I already had my Gmail account added in Mail, calendar & contacts settings but with mail turned off. Once I turned mail on and did a test of sharing a page from Safari, I noticed that I now had access to the From header; the default was my work address but I could change it to my personal one. Checked settings again and found a Default Account setting; changed it to my personal account and now it's using that as the default for sharing via email. I can still use the Gmail app to work with my personal mail, while the Mail app has access to both accounts.

After receiving an IOS update to 10.1.1, I was then asked which email address to use when sending a photo. Either I didn't find the right spot under IOS 9 or this was addressed in IOS 10.
