I mainly use the USB connection between my MBA and iPhone 5s just to do backups. There is no music on my iPhone. Today, when I have connected my iPhone I have noticed a random music library from the person I have never met.
I can confirm that my iPhone has never been associated with another AppleID as I have bought it brand new.
Any ideas on what might be happening?
You can put your entire iTunes library (not just the music files) into the Dropbox and create iTunes aliases in your ~/Music folder on both computers, as long as the paths are identical. This means you need to use the same user name on both machines. Ie., /Users/Username/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music. Then, when you add music to iTunes on one machine, when the library syncs over Dropbox, the music will be present on the other machine.
Many users have reported this problem with syncing music on iOS 8. The following steps can be taken to Sync the music back onto your iPhone.
• Uncheck “sync music” in iTunes
• Delete Music (General > Usage > Manage Storage)
• Re-check “sync music”
• Sync
I did this and also had to make sure, under the Summary tab in iTunes that "Sync only checked songs & videos" AND "Manually manage music & videos" were checked. ONLY then did it sync successfully.

It just means someone on the same local network as you is sharing their own library.
As it has a padlock, it means a password would be needed to listen to it.
If it wasn't password protected, you'd see a note symbol instead.
The chances of seeing 'stray' shared libraries are of course greater if you're on public wifi - you need only worry if you were connected to a supposedly private network & you don't recognise the name.
