When I'm initiating a call using any 3rd party app like Slack or Google Hangouts using Bluetooth headset (I've tried a couple of different models from Bose) on my iPhone I'm experiencing very loud noise.
When I'm connecting headset during the call or listening music it just works as expected.
Initially, I was blaming defective headset, so I tried few different models, and it's the same.
Did anyone experience something like that?
Please provide more details and possibly screenshots. Is the Ringer on maximum loudness or the 'Volume' on maximum loudness? It would make sense if the headphones respond differently to the 'call' feature than to media, just like the iPhone itself does.

The music settings don't seem to work for Spotify or other streaming apps. Many of them have built in equalizers to perform essentially the same function. Within Spotify, navigate to the settings menu. Under Playback, you can set up a custom equalizer. Lower all of the settings equally to decrease the base volume.

So surprisingly it looks like bluetooth support is app specific not iOS specific.
