iOS – How to Repeat an Entire Playlist in Order on iOS 10

Not obvious at all, but:

• Tap My Music from bottom nav.
• Tap the red filter menu selection that's located roughly upper central on the screen, just below the Recently Added section.
  • The filter menu should say Artists or Albums or Songs etc. Choose your desired filter option (Artists in this case).
  • The list items below the filter will update.
• Tap the list item's avatar (tap the artist photo, in this case). Do not tap the list item's text (the artist's name), unless you want instead to navigate into sublists.
• A queue will begin playing from your selection.
  • If you already had a queue, the old queue will be replaced with this new queue.
  • The first song in the queue will not be random, even if you had shuffle enabled.
• An almost-too-skinny-to-tap bar will appear at the bottom of your screen.
  • Tap it to view the current song, to access shuffle and continuous buttons, and to preview the queue (menu icon to the right of the fast-forward button).
• Complain to http://apple.com/feedback.

Any app that plays songs from the device library can read song title, artist, album and a lot more, this is included in the Apple Framework.

Lyrics can be read as well, so long as they are included in the meta data of the song file. Most songs don't include this information, so the lyrics meta data is empty.

If you subscribe to Apple Music, it will load lyrics for songs you have purchased. An app called Get Lyrical can also look up and install lyrics. Finally, you can type or paste them yourself in the Get Info window.

The only other way to get the lyrics is to load a separate file such as an .lrc This is why apps that show lyrics require you to play the song in them, because they have written some code to display .lrc file contents, or the meta data if available. .lrc files can also contain time data so can sync the playback to the lyrics, meta data does not normally do this.
