Is there any way to prompt iOS to generate a password when it doesn't detect a New Password/Change Password field?

I think the restriction settings may be the cause. Even though I have a PIN on the home screen, it prompts me for a password when I update.
I went to Settings > General > Restrictions > Require Passwords and set it to 15 minutes. I'm not sure how it got changed to this, possibly an update?
Go to Mail -> Preferences -> Accounts -> Accounts Information Tab and click Outgoing Mail Server drop-down menu. Select 'Edit SMTP Server List'
Click Advanced tab and in the Authentication field select 'Password'. Enter your new password in the according field.
