IOS – Firewall with application rules for iPad

I've read some other topics about not needed firewall for iPad's, but I'm searching the other way of security or (more important) to help my budget.
I need firewall that has incoming/outcoming rules for every app. Rules should be remembered and asked only once, but easily to change. Good would be having profiles which I could switch when needed.

Is something like this available for iPad? Is it working without Jailbreak?

P.S. It should block apple services too when I want to.

Firewall iP lets you block connections from apps on your jailbroken iOS device. You can set up custom rules to block/allow certain TCP & UDP connections.

I don't know that this is defined anywhere, but it has been my observation that you will be notified about new mail in the folder you are browsing in the mail client and in the inbox but no other folders. So if you're reading messages in folder B and then put the phone sleep or switch to another app, you will be notified about new messages in the inbox and new messages in folder B but not new messages in folder A. If you are reading messages in the inbox, then you won't be notified about messages in any other folder.

My friend, if memory serves me well, you will need to add

net.inet.tcp.icmp_may_rst=0

to /etc/sysctl.conf, and then modify the running kernel-

sudo sysctl -w net.inet.tcp.icmp_may_rst=0

That should do the trick. If no /etc/sysctl.conf exists, here is a shortcut:

sudo echo “net.inet.tcp.icmp_may_rst=0” >> /etc/sysctl.conf
sudo chmod 644 /etc/sysctl.conf

Hope that resolves the inconsistency with PF.
