Grapher – How to Restrict the Domain of a Function

In some math software, you can restrict the domain of a function by adding a command and the conditions after the function definition. Example, for Symbolab:
x^2, x >0
But this doesn't work in Grapher. I get this yellow warning:

Grapher does it the other way around: y = x > 0 ? x^2
First select both equations in the sidebar, and then Equation » Integration… in the menu.
In the dialog, it has preselected Area Between Curves. Confirm it.
You can change the color in the inspector window.
Since your second equation is y=0, you could just select the first one, and integrate it, selecting Area in the dialog. The result should look the same.
If you want, you can also change the equation font in Grapher's preferences. Click on the example equation in the white box under 'Default Font & Size':
