How to auto mount encrypted USB sticks after hibernate

I use 2 tiny USB sticks as extra storage space on my Mac. When I close the lid, I send the Mac to hibernate mode. Is there a way such that I auto mount the encrypted USB sticks right after I unlock the Mac?

What I currently do, is simply detach and put in again the USB sticks, so they are automatically mounted and decrypted. But that is obviously pretty annoying.

You can use a program called ControlPlane to automatically eject your USB drives when the system going to sleep.

According to Topher Kessler article on CNET, you can add an entry to /etc/fstab, specifying the noauto option.

Such an entry might look like this:

UUID=791E37B4-82A3-37E7-9F15-3C39359126B4   none  hfs  rw,noauto

The UUID may be obtained by looking for the Volume UUID line that is printed when you run diskutil info /Volumes/volume name.

I read an apple forum about this, A user in the forum said that if you format the pen drive to FAT32 in Disk utility you might solve your problem. Make sure you have a backup of all the contents in the pendrive because erasing it will remove all files.
