Dictionary definition for hyperlinks

Normal Behavior: When highlighting a word on a webpage, and right clicking on it, a contextual menu pops up; you can get the dictionary definition by choosing, "Look Up 'SelectedWordHere'".

However, if the word you want a definition for is also a hyperlink there is no option in the contextual menu to look up the word in the dictionary. Any hints on how to get this to work? Without copy and paste.

If you've got access to a multitouch trackpad, tapping with three fingers will (if you've enabled the option under System Preferences / Trackpad, of course) directly popUp the definition of the word, even if it's an hyperlink.

MacOS – Look Up in Dictionary with “All” filter

The only way I could get this to work is by creating a new service that looks up the word and than tells Dictionary.app to use the "all" filter.

Open /Applications/Automator.app and select the services template
in the top right part of the screen, you should see that the default input parameters Automator has selected ("Service receives selected text in any application") is just what you want
in the left hand search field, search for an Action called "Run Applescript" and drag it into your workflow
replace the part "(* Your script goes here *)" with the following Applescript, and than choose File->Save. Automator will ask you for a name for your new service (eg. "lookup in all dictionaries" and from that moment on, your service will be available in all applications.

(optional) You might also want to define a shortcut for you new service by going into "System Preferences">"Keyboard">"Keyboard Shortcuts">"Services", finding your Service in the list of Services, and double-clicking the whitespace next to it do define a global shortcut.

IOS – Changing the default iOS dictionary from New Oxford American Dictionary(NOAD) to Oxford English Dictionary(OED)

It looks like this is possible in iOS 7. When you click to define a word, in the bottom left there is a "Manage" button. Here, you can tap the X for a dictionary that you want to delete from your device and tap the cloud button to download a dictionary you want. So in your case, tap the X to delete the NOAD from your iPhone, and tap the cloud to download the OED to your iPhone.
