I accidentally clicked the delete button when my mouse had clicked on 5 September 2015 under the history page.
Is it stored somewhere temporarily or something before it is deleted?

Look under "More Gestures" the "Mouse" System Preferences pane:
Set it to two fingers or disable it altogether.
You could try the "Reset Safari" under Safari settings. Its right below Private Browsing (at least on my computer). you can uncheck everything but clear history. I tried it, and wasn't asked if i was sure I want to clear history. My source

No, once you delete history, it is removed from the database.
That database is backed up, so you can use your backup method (Time Machine backup, etc) to restore the following files:
